Nicki Minaj is busy touring the country with her ‘Pinkprint Tour.’ Her most recent show, performing to a sold-out crowd at the Aaron Theater in Atlanta on Sunday, August 2, 2015, went fantastic, until Minaj was exiting the show.
Minaj usually takes photos with her fans following her concerts, but the troopers were having none of it. Not only were they not allowing the photos, the troopers got a bit rough with the crowd. Minaj took to Twitter to express her concern saying,
“Broken hearted. The troopers made it so much worse. I always take pics with my fans. We never have issues. Treating my fans like that 4 wut” She also wrote, “It’s the only thing that makes me feel complete after my show. Seeing my die hards and taking a pic with them. Your energy made me so happy
”
While Minaj took to Twitter to express her disappointment over not getting to meet her fans, she retweeted messages from her fans, who were talking about getting hurt by the troopers. Some of the retweets included:
“@NICKIMINAJ baby I’m all bruised up from security pushing me, I lost my glasse & have to brushed knees
only for Onika
@NICKIMINAJ They were literally attacking us just now!!!!! So sad.
TBFH I got punched multiple times it’s cool though it’s cool *brushes that shit off like a G*”
Minaj then took to Instagram and Twitter to post a video of the fans screaming and the troopers pushing them along with the caption, “I just wanted to take a pic with my kids. I don’t like this. We do it all the time. I’m gonna miss u… ”
Nicki apologized to her fans who only wanted to see the singer and her fans accepted the apology posting messages telling the singer how much they love her “@NICKIMINAJ I love you so much. I love how you always try your best to meet us & make our dreams come true. I’ll love you forever ❤️”
What do you think about how the troopers treated the fans? They must have thought things were getting out of hand?
