Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced they were getting a divorce after four years of marriage, with a sweet press release, saying the usual rhetoric with a plea for compassion from all the fans. It looks like the couple, who are urging others to give them compassion, have decided they weren’t going to give each other what they were asking for. Within hours of the statement being released, Blake came out swinging and Miranda is fighting back. The question they want the public to decide is WHO CHEATED FIRST?
Upon announcing the divorce the couple released a statement that said,
“This is not the future we envisioned and it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”
Blake Shelton’s PR team came out swinging, immediately planting stories from ‘sources’ claiming Blake was a faithful husband, followed by a huge story with TMZ, claiming that his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert cheated on him with two country singers. If Blake’s team thought Miranda was going to sit by, like a sad country song, they are 100% wrong. Miranda’s team is fighting back and ‘sources’ close to Lambert say Shelton’s the one who strayed, also with a country singer.

One of the country singers who is part of the cheating scandal is Chris Young. Young took to Twitter to set the record straight. He tweeted a message to his followers saying,
“I don’t normally address gossip but in this case I will. My name has been mentioned as a contributing factor in Blake and Miranda’s divorce. That is totally FALSE. They are both my friends and I would not betray that friendship. Just wanted to clear that up.”
If you read any of the blind gossip items about cheating, Blake Shelton’s name comes up over and over, with one story claiming he was collecting phone numbers at a party while his wife was there. While there is no proof of the allegations, it is only a matter of time before someone comes forward to verify (or deny) the allegations.
