The singer was performing with Lil Kim, Mase, Faith Evans, 112, French Montana, The Lox singing a medley of past hits, celebrating the 20th anniversary of his record label, Bad Boy Records when he fell into the pit next to the stage. He handled it like a champ, getting up and continuing to perform, even joking about the incident on Instagram. He stated,
“I was getting so loose I fell lol but really tho I bust my ass lol, #finnaGetLoose #AppleMusic Puff Daddy & The Family feat @pharrell.”
During the performance there was a tribute to the late Notorious B.I.G., who was honored with a video montage set to the rap legend’s music.

The singer was arrested and charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making a terrorist threat and one count of battery. He was released from the campus jail after posting $50,000 bail. Sources have claimed that Diddy acted in self-defense though the rapper was arrested after police reviewed security footage of the incident.
