Carrie Underwood is gorgeous, there is no doubt about that. So it seemed appropriate that she would have an adorable baby when she announced that she was pregnant and she definitely did. The country singer and “American Idol” winner took to Instagram to show off a cute holiday photo of son Isaiah who is now nearly a year old. He is sitting in a personalized chair next to his daddy and Underwood’s husband, professional hockey player Mike Fisher. Underwood, 32 has been super eager to see her little guy on the move as she told Giuliana Rancic in November: “He’s pulling up. Within the past week he’s really gotten great at it and he’s pulling up on everything and walking around the coffee table.” She seemed super proud of her baby boy and how he has been progressing, as any mama would be. She went on to talk about how safe she and Fisher have to make the spaces Isaiah climbs around in/on: “You have to move anything he could fall on. He is a busy, busy guy. He will not sit still ever for anything. He has an attention span this big.” No surprise with his dad being a NHL-er and mom being a super determined superstar.
Carrie did not stop talking about her son and continued to gush over the love she has for him: He’s such a happy baby and so even when things aren’t that great…like if he’s not feeling well or he’s kind of fussy or even the little things that happen, you know, he spits up or something, I have to change my clothes, it’s all okay because that smile is-it just melts me.” From the photo, we can totally see why. He is a looker! As for the holiday photo of her boys chilling, this is how Carrie captioned it: “How we spent our Sunday…my man and my lil’ monkey! He was watching cartoons…the kiddo that is…not the hubby!” Clearly, the hubby was desperate to change the channel to maybe something more athletic. What do you think of Carrie’s little bundle of joy?
